We are currently seeking a Terminologist to join our team in Germany!

As Terminologist, you will be supporting Global Content Solutions teams and customers with the definition and deployment of terminology management projects in a smooth, efficient and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out terminology projects for the analysis, construction, expansion, consolidation and migration of terminology databases.
  • Act as SME (subject matter expert) to support sales activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams and clients during project execution: define deliverables, provide status reporting, troubleshooting and testing support.
  • Cooperate with colleagues, clients and providers to solve terminology and terminology tool related issues.
  • Provide suggestions and cooperate with colleagues on improvement of existing and new terminology tools, as well as consulting, training and support of Global Content Solutions teams and sales regarding potential customer solutions for terminology management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in a linguistic or translation-oriented degree program
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in translation and/or terminology management
  • Strong analytical, planning and reporting skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English (C1 level) is mandatory
  • Experience with terminology tools (TermWeb, Multiterm, Crossterm or similar terminology management tools)
  • Experience with CAT tools/TMS (XTM, Studio, MemoQ, WorldServer, Across, Transit, etc.)
  • Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence a plus
