We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to be part of our team in Paço de Arcos, Portugal. The selected candidate will join the corporate financial analysis team, conducting financial analysis for Acolad’s global business units and subsidiaries. The Financial Analyst reports to the Business Unit Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our Business Units with financial activities
  • Support the Accounting team with financial analysis activities
  • Run interfaces between SAP and other systems
  • Support the team in the planning, budgeting and forecasting activities for the relevant entities
  • Execute the internal allocations between Business Units
  • Participate in monthly and annual closings of Acolad Group
  • Verify accuracy of monthly accruals and deferrals at entity level
  • Support group analysis with relevant explanations for posted figures
  • Support the IC process with internal allocations and verification at entity level
  • Support annual Audit
  • P&L analysis and explaining deviations (PY and Budget)
  • Improve production through upgraded, user-friendly common reporting tools
  • Interact with production controllers and stakeholders from other departments
Requirements:
  • ✔️ University degree in Business Administration/ Finance or similar
  • ✔️ At least five years of experience in a controlling department of an international company
  • ✔️ Knowledge of SAP FI/CO (mandatory) and advanced user of MS Office applications, especially Excel (high level of expertise in Excel)
  • ✔️ Fluent English is mandatory
  • ✔️ Motivated, flexible, willing to work independently and able to work in a team
