Strategic Account Manager

We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team!
The Strategic Account Manager will manage relationships with a portfolio of existing client accounts to ensure maximum use of the services and delivery in line with the contract.
Responsibilities:
To identify business development opportunities within an existing client base and to maximise sales revenue by implementing effective strategies to maintain and grow existing business.
- Grow revenue from existing clients – look for new spenders within existing clients and cross-sell
- Ensure client's retention and ensure overall client's satisfaction.
- Expand business through identification, planning and winning of new contact relationships to grow the client.
- Manage an on-going pipeline of revenue and activity.
- Assist with - or, if so agreed, lead - any RFP/Tender/Proposal together with Head of Account Management and BDMs.
- Be knowledgeable about revenue and profitability and report accordingly.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs, culture, and decision-making process to be able to propose solutions.
- Prepare for and attend QBR or other major client meeting in addition to regular meetings and calls.
- Develop, agree, and maintain an account plan for each client to achieve sales strategy and targets including marketing campaigns and activity.
- Manage the sales pipeline and KPI activities to ensure you achieve annual sales targets.
- Proactively develop sales skills and market/business knowledge, apply best practice techniques and tools to maximise your performance.
- Achieve budgets, targets, activity levels, as agreed with Head of Account Management.
- Responsible for developing effective relationships with internal departments to meet client needs. Perform Client satisfaction surveys or calls and being the escalation point for the client.
- Complete and provide appropriate, timely management reports as required.
- Create and maintain all required CRM records.
- Develop extensive knowledge of client procurement process, including who the decision-makers are, and develop effective interventions to provide solutions to issues that clients are facing in their localization process.
- Understand external business environment, including key competitors, developments in technology, economic/political/social drivers.
- Acting as a link between the customer and the internal delivery/production teams
- Acting as a focal contact point and escalation point for the client and solving - in collaboration with the production teams - any issues related to customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Excellent working knowledge of our full service and technology offering

- Competent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Fluent in German required.
